Project News

• Google Summer of Code 2016: “Visual Analytics of enviroCar Tracks” – Naveen Jafer (India)
  The project focuses on improving analysis functionality and visual analytics of enviroCar tracks. This will require a flexible architecture that allows one to easily add additional analysis tools. Currently, the user’s profile page provides basic visual analytics facilities and is implemented in php. One task will be to migrate the analytics page to JavaScript using angular.js. Additional visual analytics facilities will also be added.

• Upcoming: “enviroCar – citizen science tools for sustainable mobility” will be presented at The European Citizen Science Association Conference 2016  from May 19 – 21, 2016 in Berlin, Germany.

• “Open Analysis of Crowdsourced Car Sensor Data – the enviroCar project” was presented at the workshop “E-mobility and smart grids: challenges and opportunities” during the 18th International GI/ITG Conference on “Measurement, Modelling and Evaluation of Computing Systems” and “Dependability and Fault-Tolerance” (MMB & DFT 2016) from April 4 – 6, 2016 in Münster, Germany.
