Yesterday, 52°North participated in the first AOK company race (AOK Firmenlauf), where 542 runners and 71 walkers braved the cold. The race, which began and ended at Freibad Hiltrup, offered scenic views for those who took the time to observe, winding through the Hohe Ward, alongside the historic waterworks, and past the Best Western Krautkrämer.

Congratulations to Jan for coming in 12th in the men’s race with a net time of 22:25! He was also 3rd in his age group. Arne came in 82nd with a net time of 27:08 and was 11th in his age group. With a net time of 36:22 (a personal best), Matthes came in 239th and was 30th in his age group.

The walkers Simon and Ann both came in with a net time of 48:11. Simon was 5th in the men’s category and first in his age group. He also was the first boss to cross the finish line! Ann came in 16th in the women’s category and 3rd in her age group.
