Clean Münster Campaign!
Once again, 52°North staff cleaned up around the office building and in the neighboring Friedenspark. Mid-march, our team spent several hours collecting all sorts of trash and it felt great to be able to do our part to keep the environment clean! A hot barbecue with a cold drink was a nice reward after toiling away!
Count us in again next year!

I’m Mohamed Shamsudeen from the vibrant landscapes of southern India, Tamilnadu. Let me take you through my fascinating path that led to this fulfilling experience.
Hi! My name is Ricardo Buitenhuis, and in this little blog I will tell you about my time here at 52°North as part of my bachelor thesis in computer science. But first, who am I and how did I get here?
I grew up in the Netherlands and while doing my bachelors at Avans University of Applied Sciences in s’-Hertogenbosch, I was convinced I wanted to finish my studies in Germany, for the simple fact that I like the German language. As someone with just a background in computer science, I knew the geo side would be new to me, and a challenge, but I thought it would be fun to combine software development and geography. So after extensive googling I found 52°North and just applied!
As most students will tell you, the best way to improve your knowledge of something is to put it into practice. This is definitely true for my internship at 52°North, so if you are reading this and wondering what an internship at 52N is like, hey my friend, this post is for you!
