In a joined effort of the 52°North Sensor Web and Semantics communities, we have developed a new framework that enables the plug & play of sensors with the Sensor Web based on Semantic Web technologies. The design of the developed architecture got just published in a journal article.
Call for ISW book submission extended
ifgi’s SWSL group extends the deadline for submissions for the upcoming Integrating Sensor-Web and Web-based Geoprocessing book. The new deadline is July 29, 2011. The idea for the book grew out of the successful ISW workshop held at the AGILE conference in April.

52North @ AGILE
Last week the AGILE 2011 conference took place in Utrecht (The Netherlands). Several members of the 52°North communities were actively involved in the conference by giving presentations or organizing workshops.
