It’s Tuesday. 9pm. Silence in room 2. Typing. Whispering. Incredulous laughter. I am standing in front of 15 people staring at their screens, relieved to see that some of them struggle. Relieved? Exactly! But let’s take a step back.
Clean Münster Campaign – Sauberes Münster
Keeping our city clean!
Last Friday, 52°North staff spent their free time cleaning up around the office building and in the neighboring Friedenspark. We were a bit shocked at the amount of trash we collected, but it was worth it! We felt great to do our part in keeping our environment clean. A small bbq with a cold drink was a nice reward after toiling away in the hot sun!
enviroCar App for iOS users: Add UI for Data Privacy Settings/Control – Update
Introduction
The project aims to implement a UI for data privacy and control that will provide the user autonomy to control the data shared through the app and informed consent. For more detailed information, please visit my introductory blog post and GitHub. In the past few weeks, I’ve implemented the UI to inform users how their location data is processed and fixed the bugs.
enviroCar App: Voice Command – Mid-term Blog Post
Introduction
The enviroCar App: Voice Command project aims to automate the enviroCar application’s actions via voice commands to provide a user-friendly experience. My goal is to add voice command features to the app as part of Google Summer of Code 2022. You can read my earlier blog, which provides an overview of this project. This blog post describes the intermediate results up to now. The project’s goals and their implementations have made significant progress.
