DevOps and Geospatial Technologies – My Internship @ 52°North
Hello everyone! My name is Ludovic, and I am excited to share my internship experience at 52°North. Over three months, I had the incredible opportunity to dive deep into geospatial innovation, tackle exciting challenges, and grow both professionally and personally. I come from Mbouda, a city in the West region of Cameroon, which is uniquely situated near the majestic Mount Bamboutos (2,740 metres high). This iconic mountain, rich in biodiversity and cultural heritage, is a natural treasure. Growing up in such a place has deeply inspired my passion for geography and geospatial technologies.
2nd KomMonitor Community Day Promotes Networking
Networking and workshop event for the KomMonitor community
After the great success of the first KomMonitor Community Day last year, Bochum University of Applied Sciences and 52°North once again welcomed users and developers, who were excited to hear about the latest news and use cases surrounding KomMonitor.
52°North @ FOSSGIS 2024

GeoNode and KomMonitor well received
In March, a small group of 52Ners made its way to Hamburg for the FOSSGIS 2024. The conference provided a broad spectrum of presentations about open-source GIS, projects and AI. At our booth, we unpacked our portfolio and engaged in many interesting discussions about state-of-the-art open-source technologies. These also carried over into the evening event (Is there any wine left?).
